This is a process where the embryo of the biological parents is carried by a surrogate mother. A surrogate mother is a woman who consents to the insertion of an embryo into her uterus with the intention of becoming pregnant, carrying and delivering the baby, relinquishing parental responsibilities and allowing the biological parents to irrevocably adopt the baby.
Surrogacy is a very demanding process for both the biological parents and the surrogate mother, so doctors only resort to it in justified cases when all other methods have been exhausted.
The most common reasons for surrogacy are health problems that a woman is born with or acquires in the course of her life that prevent her from becoming pregnant or carrying a baby.

You have to really get along with the woman that you choose as a surrogate mother and is willing to become one. She will play an irreplaceable role in your life, you will be in very close contact with her for more than a year and you will experience some very moving moments together.
There are two ways to find a surrogate mother:
It can be someone in your neighbourhood – a friend, your mother, or a woman you find through a classified ad.
If you don’t know of a suitable woman in your area, we can help you. At our clinic, women who wish to carry a baby for someone else will be contacted. In that case, please let us know.
The entire process is very complicated, so our coordinator will be available to you all the time, to make sure everything goes smoothly and answer any questions you might have. Everything will also take place under the supervision of experienced lawyers with extensive experience in surrogacy cases.
The surrogate mother must undergo a series of examinations to detect any risks. If all the results are in order, we can proceed with the artificial insemination. The composition of the tests is always individual and recommended by the doctor.
Embryos are formed from the reproductive cells of the biological parents, which you may either have available from previous IVF cycles or new embryos must be created.
If you do not have embryos, the future biological mother must undergo hormonal stimulation. The eggs that we obtain through hormonal stimulation are fertilized with sperm from the future biological father.
Sometimes it may happen that the woman of the couple does not have reproductive cells suitable for fertilization, in which case the eggs of an anonymous donor can be used. However, the donor cannot be the surrogate mother as egg donation is legally anonymous.
In the case of sperm, however, the situation is different. The biological father of the child must always be the male of the applicant couple. A non-invasive paternity test is carried out during the pregnancy, which is then used as the basis for the adoption application.
The prepared embryos are inserted into the uterus of the surrogate mother. Sometimes IVF is successful the first time, sometimes in one of the subsequent cycles.
Once the surrogate mother becomes pregnant, the biological father of the child, with her consent, acknowledges his paternity and becomes the father with all the rights and obligations that entails.
When the baby is born, it is immediately placed in the care of its biological parents. However, in legal terms, the mother is the woman who gave birth to the child. The adoption of the child must be decided by the competent court and consented to by both legal parents, i.e. the surrogate mother and the father (the male of the applicant couple). The father can give consent at any time after the birth of the child, the surrogate mother after six weeks.
